CHOOSING THE RIGHT PILLOW

Choosing the right pillow is as important as choosing the mattress or the base: It can alleviate back pain, prevent incorrect neck positions, solve the problem of snoring and alleviate lack of sleep. To choose the pillow that will suit you, follow this advice: 

SIDE SLEEPERS

You will need a sufficiently thick and firm pillow.

BACK SLEEPERS

Choose a pillow of average firmness and thickness.

STOMACH SLEEPERS

The best choice is a thin, soft pillow.

Medium or low medium support pillow will adapt to any sleeping position.

Your pillow must ensure that your spine is straight and is in the same natural position as when you are standing. On the other hand, it is as crucial to choose the right filling material that perfectly adapts to your needs:

 

FIBER: Fiber pillows are pleasantly comfortable and recover their shape well. They are breathable and cool, since they allow air to circulate, for better moisture absorption. They are completely washable, for greater hygiene as you sleep

 

VISCO-ELASTIC: Visco-elastic pillows have excellent temperature sensitivity and adaptability, since they adapt perfectly to your head shape, providing more support to give your neck a perfect rest.

 

LATEX: Its soft and agreeable texture gives your body a profoundly comfortable feeling. Its open-cell internal structure results in better ventilation, hygiene and durability.

 

DOWN OR FEATHERS: due to their good height and size but soft filling that quickly gets flat under the weight of the head, these pillows are perfect for tummy sleepers. Pillows filled with down or feathers offer quality and exceptional softness.

 

Don't forget that a pillow only lasts for about 2 or 3 years, depending on use and the number of times it is washed - after that, it starts to lose its initial properties.
